The Future of St Katharine Docks

St Katharine’s Investments has plans to create one of the most desirable city-centre marinas in the world at St Katharine Docks.

Following consultation with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the local community, statutory consultees and other stakeholders, St Katharine’s Investments has revised its planning applications for listed building consent and conservation area consent for the Docks.

The revisions maintain the focus on implementing the improvements to the North West and South West gateway entrances, along with providing new shops and restaurants at Quay level in International House and Commodity Quay, and modifying the Tradewinds Restaurant. Commodity Quay will also be redeveloped to so that it will be a more efficient and sustainable modern office building suitable for occupiers of the 21st century.

However, the redevelopment of Devon House has been removed from the scheme as it has now been successfully re-let as offices.
